What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

When providing an accurate quotation to a client, we require the date and location of the event and a rough idea of the time you'd like the entertainment to start. This will allow us to check availability and ensure that one of our fantastic entertainers are available to perform at the event. If other details are available e.g. the number of guests and the type of event (wedding, private party or corporate event), then they're always handy to know too!

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

If I was in a clients position, looking to book entertainment for an event, I'd like to know a little bit about the company. I'd like to make sure they're reputable, they've been doing it for a while and have experience, and they've got lots of good reviews/feedback from other bookings.
It's a good idea to have a contract in place, so both parties have the same expectations. I'd also highly recommend paying a deposit.
We also always recommend booking a magician that's a member of The Magic Circle. That way, you know they're going to be good. All of the magicians that we use are proud members.
I'd also like to ensure that the entertainment being booked has its own insurance in place.

Fine Entertainments offer the UK's leading Magicians to events all over the country.
It started out when two competing magicians in similar areas decided to join forces and combine both of their expertise, creating an entertainment company specialising in magic entertainment.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

We've made some great connections through the Add to Event platform so far. We're still very new to this particular platform, but I'm sure we're going to meet lots more amazing people, and perform at lots more amazing events!
Recently, we were booked to provide entertainment at a wedding in St Albans. We've had a nice chat with the client on the phone, and we're looking forward to meeting and entertaining their guests at the weekend!
