What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

In order for us to give an accurate quote, we would need to know the type of event, the approximate numbers of people attending, if the event is indoors or outdoors and if it is an adult or children's event. We can then provide a magic performance with tricks that would be suitable for your event. For corporate events, we would like to know if the event is a performance or team building workshop.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

What kind of magic are you looking for? Are you looking for a stage performance or a mix and mingle or table magic performance? Our speciality is mix and mingle magic and mind reading and we do not do large stage illusions. We can do a stage performance if the setting s right and we would be happy to discuss this. Most events would suit mix and mingle or table magic.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

I have over 40 years experience as a magician and a short while ago I teamed up with another local magician to form D&N Magic. Together we have lots of experience with event planning and weddings, corporate events and team building workshops. We believe that a good magician will be able to cater to any audience and leave them amazed and completely blown away by the impossible.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

We have many bookings through this site and all of them have been a joy to attend. We have two that jump to mind. We both performed at a company Christmas party in the Leamington Spa area. the event was a huge success for us and for the company. We also performed at a 70th birthday party for a retired police chief superintendent. The event took place in a large stately home and in a marquee in the grounds. We are fairly new to Add to Event but so far we are very pleased with the results we have had and the performances that we have provided.
