What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

Firstly, let us know when you will be requiring our service with a date. Next the number of guests, so usually this is tough because you have an envisaged number – but maybe everyone doesn’t rsvp OR maybe you have gate-crashers… we understand it goes with the territory, if we have a close estimation we can quote you. Where are we going to? Venue is important as this affects our delivery and travel time, as we have various bar packages available including cash, prepaid, TAB or unlimited, we will need to know what your budget will allow for. If there are any added extras you have in mind, talk to us we are happy to help in terms of any suppliers or added flair to any event.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

It is always a good idea, to look at what other clients have said about the type of service provided. This will give you a good idea of what you can expect. If someone has loved a provider’s service, they are usually more than happy to let others know about it. You could also ask the bar company for available pictures of past work done, and menu's created. Visually this will help you to see if the provider is a good fit for your event. Find out about the bar staff they employ and their experience, depending on your event you will want staff who are professional, fun and experienced in the entertainment industry.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Chota Peg and Lime was born from a passion for the entertainment industry - to provide to clients a service that is not just different in terms of the way we do things but also in the why. I have a passion for people and making their envisaged dreams a reality, it's why we have so many add on services, so that we can assist clients to have an event that will yield memories to last a lifetime. Each event is as important to us as it is to our organisers, and we absolutely love sharing in these special moments.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

Although I have a few routes to market, Add to Event have hands down been my favourite events! My team and I always have such fun working Add to Events' client’s events. We were discussing this in the office just the other day… wondering why Add to Event’s client's events are always easier from start to finish. We have even experienced events where my team and I never want to leave the client's home and have threatened to set up camp in their back garden. Their response is always 'As long as you keep servicing us drinks you can stay as long as you like!' in short - we would recommend Add to Event 100% and have done so several times.
