Based in Lincolnshire, Coronation Bars is a mobile bar service that covers Lincolnshire, Cambridgeshire & Norfolk. They cater for christenings, birthday parties, weddings, corporate events, music festivals and more.

What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

To enable us to provide the best possible quote and the best service, we need to know the type of event you are planning, the number of adult guests in attendance, the venue and location and any access issues and of course the duration of the event. We then use our vast experience and knowledge and put together the perfect package for you and the event your planning.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

My advice to any potential clients is to ensure you are sure of the service they are offering and make sure in advance of the Bar prices. I pride my self on how competitive my prices are. Ensure the supplier is sending you with professional staff and at least an authorised Personal Licence Holder at the event or an authorised person who is accountable for the event. Ask for all licenses before the event to make sure the event is legal, you wouldn't want the event shutting down due to not having the correct licenses in place.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Coronation Bars is a family run business based in Spalding. I initially set the business up to provide a professional mobile bar service within the area, catering for small family events right up to big corporate / festival type events (circa 3000 people). I am proudly supported by Molson Coors UK (The UK's leading drinks supplier) and therefore I can offer a huge range of all types of drinks, etc with full technical support from them. Our equipment is all brand new and state of the art in our industry enabling us to offer our clients a better experience when using our services.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

Being new to Add to Event, we had our first booking on Saturday 1st September 2018 - an 80th Birthday Party for a lovely gentleman called John. A small family event with all of John's 7 Children. We do not charge any booking fees and there is no minimum spend on our bars. Beverly, John's wife booked us and was delighted with what we provided on the day, full mobile bar offering 3 Draught Beers and Guinness, Over 50 different spirits (16 different Gins) as well as bottled beers and ciders. In her words, she was totally reliant on expertise and honesty as she had no experience with this type of booking and it being over the internet. A very lovely lady who was very happy with our service, who has promised us a glowing review.
