What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

Our bar services can vary a lot from customer to customer, in order to provide a comprehensive quote we require the following details. Where the venue is located and time frame, from this we will know how far we are required to travel and times in which we are able to set up. Estimated number of guests, we can then get an idea of what levels of stock we will need. Whether it is an indoor or outdoor event and amount of space, we will then know which bars to offer. The bar payment option and drinks packages that will be required, we can then settle the event deposit and price for drinks packages that have been selected.
Within this process of creating a quote we will set up a consultation with the customer, whether that be in person or over the phone, in order to tailor the bar to their needs and offer advice/guidance.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

The advice which I would offer to a customer, hiring a provider would be to ask as many questions as possible so that they are fully aware of what the provider will be offering and how they work. These questions may be as simple as what products will be sold, prices or about previous events they have catered for. This will give you a good idea of whether this is the right provider for you and importantly if you get along with them.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Craftily Bars & Events, was started from a passion for local produce, the love of hospitality and offering a great service. I had ran my own venue for the past 3 years, and worked within the hospitality industry for the past decade. I decided I would follow my passion even more so by offering a tailored mobile bar service which wasn't restricted to a specific place.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

We started offering our mobile bar services mid-way through 2022, we had bookings coming in but after joining Add to Event there have been a lot more opportunities! These would not have been there without this platform. We have had a great time offering our services through the events that we have been selected for, via Add to Event and would totally recommend the platform to anyone starting their journey within the events industry. We are looking forward to the next events that come our way.
