What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

We do not offer bespoke quotes. We believe in a fair price for all. It doesn't matter if it's a wedding or a birthday party to us, you will get the same professional bar experience at a competitive price.
However its good to know dates, times, venue and number of guests.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

You can never ask too many questions. It's always useful to ask what drinks they supply, their drink prices and what's included in their quote. If there is a certain drink you want supplying, make sure you check we can provide it. Ask about licensing as well, many events require a TEN licence.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

We have been in the events industry for over 11 years and have regular clients, some of the biggest names in the UK. In our view customer service is extremely important.
Previously to this, my background was all things hospitality. I always favoured working the bar so it seemed the right thing to combine the two. The idea of having an actual pub wasn't right for us, leading us to convert our cider bar and set about running that and an indoor bar.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

We attended an event for a client who had been let down by another provider and were in touch with each other mostly every day. The event got started with us arriving early and ready to go with plenty of time. As the evening went on, everyone was so happy and our business cards were flying out!
At the end the organiser came over and was so grateful. They said they thought we were too good to be true.
They had held other events and no one came close for customer service so we've become a regular fixture at other events they've organised since.
I always say being asked back is the greatest compliment.
