What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Be mindful of costs, minimum spends that some bars apply to the booking. ( we don’t ).

Ask questions, nothing should be too much trouble for a reputable reader to answer.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Here at A&R pop-up bar, we always thought of going into a pub/bar as we love working with the public and seeing people enjoy themselves.
Seen as the pub and club scenes seem to be struggling, we thought, why not take our bar service to where customers want us.
And here we are, we started off with a horsebox bar, and now we’re able to set up outdoors in a gazebo or indoors without the gazebo, as our setup can do both.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

Our first event through Add to Event was a 40th birthday party in Birmingham.

Bit worried at first as to how it would all go as it was just planned through messages.

Turned up, lovely venue, great people, turned out to be an amazing night for both us and the customers.
