What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

To provide an accurate quote we need a few details. Firstly, we need to know the date when the event will be taking place so we can ensure we have availability. Next, the length of hire and location are needed, as differing hire periods have different prices and it is important to check whether the venue is within our travel area. It is also helpful to know the time when the event will be taking place, as we can offer better deals for day time events.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

We would recommend that customers ask potential photo booth providers if there are any additional charges or fees, such as VAT or travel. It is also a good idea to ensure your photo booth provider has public liability insurance and all of the equipment is PAT tested, as quite often venues will require PAT and PLI certificates. The quality of a photo booth can also differ quite a bit between suppliers, so it is a good idea to ask to see some sample photos taken by each suppliers booth.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Prior to transitioning into full-time photo booth providers, our team were professional event photographers. We saw that photo booths were beginning to become a popular form of entertainment at parties and weddings, but they lacked high photo quality. We thought we could combine high-end professional photography with the fun of photo booth hire, and 6 years later we have now provided our booths at thousands of events throughout the UK.
