What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

To provide a comprehensive quote for the customer we ideally require the date of the event, some more brief details on the style of the event and the ideas the customer has for it, the estimated number of guests that will be attending the event, which service the customer requires from us, any additional extras the customer may require. Once all this information has been gathered either by messages or over the phone with the customer we can use our expertise and experience to put together a quote suitable for the event.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Personally, I would start by finding out more about the business and what they are offering. Getting a deeper insight into the business that you are looking to hire is key! Look at who they have worked with before and previous events they have attended. If they have a website have a browse of that to get a more in depth look on the business! Find out about the quality of equipment they would be using for the event and the experience they have of working in that particular field of an event.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Like many businesses, our journey began with an idea and a gamble. As twin brothers with a passion for coffee, we wanted to channel our enthusiasm into a project that could bring our knowledge closer to fellow coffee-lovers across the nation.
From the original designs of the concept for our first coffee cart on some scraps of paperback in 2016, The Bean Bike Ltd was formed, and we have since made our vision a reality.
We now, four years later, are proud to be able to offer our clients a range of over thirty units for all sorts of various cuisines and tastes. But we aren’t finished yet. We constantly strive to continue growing our brand to deliver more high quality, interesting catering options to the events industry.
Since starting The Bean Bike, we have supplied numerous events across Europe, ranging from private wedding functions to corporate business experiences for international companies such as Amazon. We love what we do, and take great enjoyment and pride out of being a part of every event we attend.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

The best event we have attended so far in our Add to Event experience would have to be a 60th Birthday Party in Golden Cross that we supplied a Pie and Mash menu to the guests. We used one of our vintage horseboxes to supply the event with a beautiful trailer in a garden of a beautiful country house. We even supplied the event with two waiting staff to serve the Pie and Mash to the guests and also canapes and drinks that were supplied by the customer. The guests gave us many great reviews of the food and our service and said they would recommend us to friends and family for the future!
