What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For us to make sure we will provide exactly what you need and expect we need to know the number of guests attending the party/event, what is the occasion if you looking for more casual catering or something more formal. It is very helpful if we know if the venue has got the kitchen.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

You need to make sure the caterer understands what you need. If you looking for a formal dinner, the caterer should be able to provide uniformed staff and have the right experience to be able to make your evening special. On another hand, if you looking for a more casual form of celebration, with a larger number of guests, the caterer needs to understand that.
Make sure caterer will provide all necessary tableware, the last thing that you need is to worry about plates or glasses.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

For me, Aroma is not just catering. I take much pride and satisfaction from seeing people wholeheartedly enjoy the food that I make for them. The personalised catering services I provide at Aroma Dining at Home allow me to do just that. I can't imagine doing something different.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

Our last event booked via Add to Event was a birthday party for 20 guests at home. Lynn wanted to make celebration casual, with finger food for guests. She also wished to include in the menu her husband's favourite snacks. We arrived at the venue 2 hours before the guests arrived, we set up the table where the food was presented and we provided all tableware, plates, glasses, cutlery and napkins. We received a great review from Lynn and her husband.
