What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For us to provide you with a bespoke quote we need the event date and a brief explanation of the type of event that needs staffing. This includes the location, the estimated number of guests, the times you think you will need your staff and an idea of the type of roles you require your staffing team to fulfill. We understand planning an event means being flexible as there are a lot of moving parts you may have no control over. So don't worry if you don't yet have all this information. We will be pleased to work around you and be of any assistance we can!

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I'd most certainly be asking your staffing agency how many times they're worked with the people they're considering supplying to your event. A lot of staffing agencies have thousands of CVs or often pull anyone from Facebook to fulfill jobs. Although Facebook is a great tool, this needs to be utilised together with a thorough interview process. I think another good question would be what would your staff say about you? The important thing to remember is happy staff = happy guests. Happy guests = happy clients!

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

2 Angels Independent Staffing Solutions LLP, trading as Your Events Team, was born out of absolute love of events. I spent years working for other agencies and wondered if some had lost sight of why they were in business. Was it to turn the biggest profit possible/ provide the best service possible? I'm a people person so I picked up tons of experienced friends whose passion for events matched mine and I decided to team up with them and start an agency that was all about it's people. We pay better than other agencies and we have stronger relationships with our staff. Our staff are at the core of everything we do because I sincerely believe that happy staff = happy clients. I'm blessed to go to work every day in love with what I do, and do what I love with some of my best friends.
