What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

We will need to know the following details to offer our clients a comprehensive quote for the services we provide. We shall require the exact date, time and location of the event; whether its a birthday, wedding or corporate event. It is important to also know guest numbers, in order to give an accurate price. It would also be good to know if the event is themed so we can come up with some ideas for our clients.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

We suggest you ask the sweet and candy cart supplier the following:

1, How long have they been in business.
2, Do they hold Full Public Liability insurance?
3, Do they hold health & safety certificates.
4, Have they got risk assessments in place based around their business.
5, Ask for previous work from past events.
6, Ask about the machines they use for their services and do some research to see how good they are! Better machines means better and faster services.
7, Do they offer special food requirements like gluten free, halal etc. If so are these an extra cost?
8, Have they got special deals or packages?
9, Ask for breakdowns of all services provided to see exactly what you get within each service.
10, What will the staff attending the event be wearing and how many will be coming.
11, Find out the set-up/breakdown times and see if this service is an additional fee.
12, See if they require fuel expense fees if your event is outside of the area of where they usually work.
13, Do the providers offer other services like cakes, cake pops, macarons etc.

Ever So Sweet Events was born out of love for all things sweet! A young couple called Josh and Jade decided that there was a gap in the market for fun food services by offering creative, unique and fun services that go above and beyond clients expectations. We have a strong desire for this industry and we're very passionate at what we do. Not only do we understand our clients core frustration, but we provide and demonstrate a solution for every problem.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

We have been on this platform for a few months now. It got off to a slow start but recently we have been getting more bookings. We were asked to set up a one of a kind candy cart at Marco Pierre Whites for a lovely client for their little girls christening. We went all out for this event and it truly turned out amazing - everyone was commenting on how lovely the service looked. Since doing this job our clients have recommended us to their friends who have also booked us for future events.
