Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Before starting a family, I was a wedding planner but also have always been heavily involved in the catering business having run restaurants and cafes in the past. We saw an opportunity to serve up tasty dessert treats at weddings and Waffle Wands has grown from there. We've branched out further from weddings into events and have made a few public appearances at things such as St Albans Christmas light switch on.

The process of using Add to Event is ideal for customers and suppliers to match in a simple and easy way. We have taken bookings but not yet carried out the work. The system is efficient and has an easy step by step platform. We have received a large amount of requests in the short time we have been on the platform, which has given us good exposure on social media and helped us generate a buzz around our business.
