About On the Hoof Bar and Kitchen

We provide delicious streetfood using our trailer bbq that can easily cater for 200+ guests. We are licenced to sell alcohol so can provide Prosecco, Wines Beer, Lager and Gin & Tonic and soft drinks and water. Our food range includes high quality burgers, spicy lamb kofta kebabs, sliced bavette steak, jerk chicken, souvlaki chicken, harissa leg of lamb and a vegetarian or vegan option of spiced halloumi or falafels in a flatbread or a spicy bean burger. We offer various side salads too and can also offer canapes and desserts. We have catered weddings and private parties, post-wedding sunday breakfasts and numerous events from Markets to Village Days and Music Events plus parties for schools/companies etc. Our website will give you an idea of how stunning the bbq is.

Our Story

After 30 years in the IT industry, Mike decided to start doing what he loved: providing people with great food & drink! Starting with a converted horsebox serving barista coffee and hot food and now operating a Trailblazer 600 BBQ trailer, On the Hoof Bar & Kitchen focuses on providing delicious food and drink for events, with a commitment to sustainability.

Fantastic service

We booked Mike for an event where we needed a barbecue service for our client. After finding On the Hoof Bar and Kitchen online, we sent an online enquiry which was dealt with rapidly and efficiently by Mike. His communication leading up to the event was good, and he turned up on time and provided a first class barbecue service. His meat was cooked beautifully and staff were great. Such fab service amd great guys
