Photography has been a passion of mine for many years, and Gary Browning Photography was created from a genuine enjoyment of capturing people, moments and occasions in a natural and authentic way.

I particularly enjoy event photography because every occasion is different. Whether it’s a celebration, corporate event, anniversary, awards evening or community gathering, I love documenting the atmosphere and the small moments that help tell the story of the day.

My style is relaxed, friendly and unobtrusive. I want people to feel comfortable around the camera, so I focus on natural expressions and genuine interactions rather than constantly posing or interrupting what is happening.

Before moving further into professional photography, I spent many years working in senior management, which taught me the importance of reliability, organisation, communication and staying calm under pressure. I bring those same qualities to every photography assignment.

Based in Dover, Kent, I’m continuing to grow Gary Browning Photography by building strong relationships with clients and delivering a professional, straightforward service from the first enquiry through to the final edited images.

For me, the most rewarding part is knowing that the photographs I create can preserve the memories of an important occasion long after the event itself has finished.

I have over 10 years of photography experience, covering portraiture, events, headshots and wedding photography.

My experience includes photographing a 40th anniversary event for Pilgrims Way Nursing Home, where I captured the day’s celebrations, guests, VIPs and vendors, as well as producing professional headshots for a business environment.

I have also invested in dedicated wedding photography training and portfolio-building sessions, working with professional models in realistic wedding-day scenarios to develop my skills in posing, composition, lighting and storytelling.

Alongside photography, I bring more than 30 years of experience in senior management and business operations. That background has given me strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to remain calm and professional in busy or time-sensitive situations.
