Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

The Rub BBQ started with my love for wood smoked meats (especially ribs) and authentic American inspired BBQ sauces.
My love for food and desire to replicate great flavours from visits to stateside restaurants inspired me to experiment and create my own BBQ dry rub (hence the name), and soon it became a hobby/obsession. From there this grew into a business offering fully comprehensive catering.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

We have had around a dozen events booked through Add to Event this year alone which range from 45 people at a garden party to 360 people for a well known corporate staff party. All of which we have received amazing reviews for (especially the weddings). One, in particular, was a tipi wedding for 140 people where we provided canapés, an informal sit-down meal and a wedding cheese tower. We somehow managed to pull this off in 50mph winds and left the day with some very well fed guests and an extremely happy couple. We already have a number of events through Add to Event booked for 2019 and 2020. A great site to use.
