What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For a comprehensive quote, we require a few small details. Firstly, where is the venue? How many guests would you like to cater for? Do you have any dietary requirements? Are there any specific desserts you would like to include on the day? We can also add some additional extras such as personalised packaging, toppers, even flavours. From this, we can gather a quotation for your consideration. We look forward to hearing from you.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Firstly we would suggest asking for their hygiene rating. Although not always, it's a good indication that the provider is up to date with current legislation and policies regarding cleanliness and allergens. I would also ask how much experience they have. We have over 6 years experience in our trade and we spent a whole year converting our trailer ourselves. It takes a lot of dedication and passion to do what we do and we love every minute of it.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Our baking journey began in 2014 when Laura decided to make our wedding cake. It was a bit wonky... but it tasted delicious and that's what counts.. right? Soon after the wedding, Laura started a small baking business called "Sweet Occasions" which she ran for 4 years. As much as she loved it, she wanted to branch out. After searching for the perfect little shop without much luck, we began to think of alternatives. Et voila! The Sweet Petite was born. It started with a drawing and a dream... then several more drawings, a few nightmares, one broken fridge, lots of late nights, not forgetting a 13 hour, nerve-shattering drive home from the Cotswolds, but we made it. We couldn't be prouder of our little trailer.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

We are quite new to Add To Event but we have already received and responded to dozens of requests. The messaging system is fantastic and we are finding it very easy to navigate and get our quotations over to customers quickly. We recently completed our profile and now display Add to Event's banner on our own website. We can't wait to receive our first booking through the site and it doesn't feel like we will have to wait too long. We are looking forward to a rewarding future together with Add to Event and would recommend it to anyone in this industry.
