What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

First and foremost I would like to know what type of event they are organising a detailed list of the main schedule before the event date would make a difference, Secondly, venue size and a number of guests expected whether the venue is indoors or outdoors, distance to the entrance from drop off point. The genre of music, time for setting up also need to know if they have a master of ceremony or they need me to provide the services and if they may need time extension. What lights if any particular as well as the number of microphones.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

They should highlight all the important points of the product they are after and ask for guidance if not sure, They need to ask how long or what experience the supplier has, are they knowledgeable of what they are supplying. Ask the supplier to explain their services in detail talk to them verbally as some suppliers might have the best and appealing website or written statement that does not reflect their services in general. The best is for customers not to compromise quality services over price as this usually come back to haunt them if it sounds too good to be true as more questions or get an alternative.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

I started doing charity and school events before I got on the radio and I then seriously considered doing private events and club promotions but my passion has always been working with people from different walks of life and having to satisfy their music needs. Playing and being a resident DJ in a multicultural club gave me a lot of confidence in performing in front of huge crowds and I love and enjoy music as it is my passion, hobby and profession. Most of all I love to see the smiles of happy customers when I am working for them. Mobile disco brings me satisfaction as not only do I get to travel but also meeting people with different tastes of music and giving them exactly what they like.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

Being new to the platform I only got a booking recently which I still have to work at a few weeks from now, I have referred some friends to this service and some of them are happy. It's unfortunate if I cannot put reviews from my other work here as it is a big disadvantage for me getting work. But when I have a few booking completed this should change.
The positive side is I like how you are always trying to improve the site on how we can express our work to clients more.
