What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
For us to provide an accurate quote to a customer, ideally we need the event date and location, what type of event they are hosting and an estimated number of guests. We need to understand what food you have in mind, and if there are any dietary requirements.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
A hog roast is an economical way of feeding large numbers of guests. Please bear in mind a hog can feed from 50-100+ people. If you request a hog roast for 20 people, it can be done, but it'll be expensive for the amount of guests you have.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
I run the flagship Weber Grill Academy from our busy butchers shop in London. With a love and passion for grilling meat I decided to broaden my business and offer BBQ catering. Previously an Events Manager, I enjoy planning other people's events, and purchased glamping tents to offer another element to my business.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
A customer hired our hog roast machine on a DIY package, for a large party in his garden. He left a great review and was very happy with his overall experience with us. De-boning the pig meant it was very easy for him to cook and carve, which he really appreciated.
