What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
To provide a quote to a customer, I need to know the event date, an explanation of the type of event you are having, for example are you looking to host a dinner party, a Christening party, a hot or cold buffet and the number of guests and venue.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
For each customer I would like to provide a bespoke dining experience for their special event, so as much detail is needed as possible, to ensure that I get the brief right and so the host can relax knowing that you are in a very capable 'chef's hands. Make sure you check previous reviews and ask lots of questions of your prospective caterer.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
Over the years I have attended many dinner parties and events with the host looking 'totally stressed and exhausted', so asking a professional and experience chef who has hosted many parties, really is a superb idea.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
I have had some lovely bookings and met some very nice people through Add to Event; the most enjoyable booking of this year was catering for a group of people at a rented villa...well the food was fab, the evening was so much fun and they all had an amazing time! I had a fantastic review and really made some great friends who I am sure will meet again!
