What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For me to be able to provide a solid quote there are a number of things I need to know:
The Event Date/Time, Type of Function, Location of Function, Type of Entertainment Required, Length of performance

Additionally an idea of budget would be a massive help as I wouldn't be wasting my time/money bidding on events that have inadequate budget.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

My biggest piece of advice, especially for a wedding booking (after you have maybe shortlisted your favourite 5) speak to the supplier, make sure you have a connection. Remember they will be spending time with your closest family and friends on the biggest day of your lives, so they need to be someone you get on with and feel comfortable with.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

I have been a professional singer in a group and as a solo artist for over 10 years. I love performing at events and feel honoured to have been able to perform at many weddings over the last few years, it really is the best feeling!
