What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

To be able to provide a detailed comprehensive quote to a customer, we would require a list of items they are looking to hire, also whether they would like to have any flowers included within their order for the items, but also mainly the number of each item they would need. This allows us to break down the cost and be more effective in our response

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

With all my clients past, present and future; I would advise to not be scared to ask questions about certain services they offer, but also to make sure that all quotes provided include set up. A lot of companies provide quotes based on dry hire where customers have to set up themselves. Always try to hunt around for quotes and always make sure you have the best price possible. Also do ask whether there is VAT included and delivery charges.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

I started the business after I found the love of planning events and parties for my family. I took up wedding planning and have since become very involved in other areas of the industry and now supply a vast range of products and services including venue styling and providing decor. I do my job for the love of doing it and try my hardest to provide the best possible price whilst still providing a premium service to all my clients. With the help of my strong hard working team it allows me to focus on my customers and put their needs first by always being on hand to make sure they are happy.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

I am quite new to Add to Event and so haven't undertaken any jobs as of yet. But since I came on board I have had a great amount of response from quotes I have sent out to potential customers with one evening booking on the same day that I joined. When I was told about Add to Event I thought it may be something that wouldn't work for me, but I have to say I am very shocked and proven wrong as it has allowed me to access brides and grooms in another way and on a different platform other than social media.
