About RDG Events

We’re a husband and wife catering team, and we own two stylish food stations and two catering trailers. We’d be delighted to offer our mobile catering for your events.

With over 15 years of experience, we have honed our skills in catering at music and food festivals, private and corporate events, on location and weddings. Our unique offerings include ‘Little Flo’, a converted vintage horse box, and ‘Maisie Boo’, our charming food pod. We specialise in providing delectable, grab-and-go food options that elevate any event with a touch of whimsy. Our menus cater to a diverse range of dietary preferences, including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options.

Our menu features a delightful assortment of treats, such as savoury and sweet crêpes, waffles, candy floss, grilled flat iron cheese toasties, and all-day breakfast rolls and wraps, bagels, smoothies and milkshakes.

Our Story

RDG Events has family, quality and entrepreneurialism at its heart from the beginning. What started with a successful sweets business has grown into an event catering company that is all about great food, customer experience and flexing those event management muscles that come with being in the industry for as long as they have. Darren and I, the team (married couple) are behind RDG events, travelling the UK working at music festivals with our vintage mobile sweet shop, Gordons Sweets with jars of nostalgic sweets for over 15 years. But when the pandemic hit, like many in the industry, we found ourselves suddenly without events, with over 200 jars of sweets and nowhere to trade. Starting a food truck business had always been a dream of mine. After losing my mum, I knew I wanted to do something in her memory — something that would carry her name with me wherever I went. That’s how ‘Little Flo’ was born, named after my lovely mum, Veronica Florence.’ Little Flo is a lovingly restored vintage horsebox, full of charm and character, and it quickly became the heart of our new venture. Over time, our offering expanded to include breakfast, lunch, brunch, evening snacks and indulgent sweet treats.’ In 2023, we welcomed our second trailer, ‘Maisie Boo’, named after my great-grandmother. She's a sleek, modern pod that complements Little Flo. Together, they allow RDG to cater to a wide variety of events, from garden parties to large weddings and corporate events and film sets. We were then thinking around the winter months, how we could still accommodate everyone’s event, however small their budget. We now have two stylish food stations that we can serve in or outdoors under a gazebo.
