Hello. I am James, a private chef based in Taunton. I have a huge amount of experience of cooking at events, from small intimate gatherings, family gatherings, small weddings to large parties, Hen parties and corporate events.
My experience comes from working in high-end kitchens in London and across the country, running my own award-winning pubs and restaurants, to now working as an executive head chef in large private schools.

I cook within our seasons, creating unique dishes from ingredients locally sourced including my own foraged goods. I use fermented and preserved ingredients a lot in my cooking, creating dishes with as little waste as possible.
I cook from the heart. Events are planned with every detail discussed in an open ended conversation. I am here to help make your ideas come to life.

I cook from the heart, keeping in our natural seasons using ingredients that come from as close to home as possible. Knowing where and what is in my food is a core value to me. I know my butcher very well, and he could take me to any of the farms her uses for meat. The same as my greengrocer. He sources locally and if not buys with provenance in mind.
Cooking for dinner parties in your home, hen parties, family gatherings, small weddings and events like this is what I do best. Getting to know my clients and the visions of the events is right at the beginning of any event.
I write all of my own dishes, and can cater for all dietary needs. I hold high level professional qualifications in health and hygiene, haccp and taccp. I come fully DBS checked and passed.
