About Urban Crust

We are a mobile wood fired sourdough pizza company based in Waterloo, Liverpool. We are passionate about good food and in particular, good pizza. We are always delighted when we are asked to cater for private events and can provide catering for your wedding, party or any other event. Our pizza is cooked and served buffet style from our converted vintage Rice horse trailer or, from our gazebo setup, where space and access is at a premium. Both set ups are an impressive focal point, for any event. We can cater for birthday parties, corporate events, weddings, festivals, markets or pop ups. We can design a menu to suit your event. We offer slow fermented (minimum 48 hours) wood fired sourdough pizza. Our dough is made fresh for each event, it is never frozen, using only flour, water, salt and our starter. Provenance is important to us, so we are committed to using ingredients from the highest quality British and Italian producers. All our pizzas are made fresh to order. They are hand stretched and then cooked at 450 degrees in our wood burning oven. The basic package includes a selection of 4 different pizzas of your choice from our menu, high quality compostable plates, serviettes and cutlery, the hire and set up of the oven/trailer/equipment, lights, 3 staff cooking/serving for 2-3 hours (depending on number of guests) and travel costs within 25 miles of Waterloo. We arrive 2-3 hours before the event to set up and ensure the oven is at temperature. We then require 1 hour after the event to tidy up and clear away.

We are always delighted to cater for private events. We can provide catering for weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, corporate events, pop ups, markets, festivals, whatever the occasion.

Couldn't have been better, amazing food & service

Ged and his family pride themselves on using the best quality ingredients and you can really tell, this is not your average mobile catering! The pizzas were some of the best I've ever tasted and the Antipasti was fantastic. They were really professional right from the start coming to check the venue beforehand to make sure they could offer the best service for the event and even on the day when it was bitterly cold and miserable the service was exceptional. All the guests absolutely loved the food. Urban Crust is really as good as it gets if you want wood fired pizza, I can't recommend them highly enough.

Amazing

One of the best decisions we made was to hire you for our wedding breakfast. The trailer and marquee set up really added to the look of our wedding. Everyone raved about the Antipasti which was served so beautifully. The pizzas were great especially the mushroom and truffle oil. The salads were a great addition and we loved the way it was all set out. You also catered for guests with special requirements and cleared all the plates afterwards. Thank you so much for the great service you provided for our wedding.

Delicious pizzas!

We booked Urban Crust for an 18th birthday party.They were amazing.It is a family run business,very professional,and the pizzas were outstanding.I would use them again no question.Brilliant!

Highly recommended, they were absolutely great

Catered our wedding in the evening & went down a storm! Pizzas were delicious, we had so many great comments from our guests. Ged was so helpful right from my initial enquiry, really great service. Their set-up & take-down was all done with minimum fuss & they were really efficient on the night. To top it off they were lovely people! Can't thank them enough

Made our day!

Ged and his team were absolutely amazing! Prior to the wedding we must have sent 30 emails back forth to make sure our special day would be perfect. We had a few guests with special dietary requirements (vegans and lactose intolerant) but this was no issue for Urban Crust. Unfortunately as it was my wedding I didn't get to eat much pizza, but what I did eat was absolutely delicious. That 72 hour dough! All of our guests loved the food though, I'm just sad that my friends and family didn't leave me any! Urban Crust are a solid 10/10 from me and my new wife. Fully recommended.
