What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For Fabtastic Parties to provide an accurate quote we need to know the date and time of your party, the venue address and the length of the party. Typically, we offer 1 hour, 90 min and 2 hour packages. For more than 30 children, an assistant is required for health and safety purposes and to ensure you receive the best quality service.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I would highly suggest looking at their website to see exactly what it is that they offer. Read their reviews and ask how long they have been in the entertainment industry. Every entertainer should also have public liability insurance so don't be afraid to ask to see proof of this. The price you pay is covering the skills of the entertainer, their equipment, the time it takes to get to and from the venue and their insurance. Remember you get what you pay for, if something sounds too good to be true then it probably is!

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

I trained as an actress and singer at the London School of Musical Theatre and soon after graduating I began working as a children's entertainer in between acting and singing contracts. After many years in the industry, I decided to set up my own company, so that I can ensure my customers are receiving the highest quality service. So far I have loved it, I have invested so much in the best equipment and entertainers and this is reflected in the amazing reviews I receive.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

I have very recently joined Add to Event and have so far been really pleased with the response I have had. I have a few upcoming parties which I am really excited about, however one of my entertainers provided a Tinkerbell party last week which was very last minute but we were pleased to step in and save the day! We received a 5* star review, so the customer was very happy!
