What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

To be able to give a comprehensive quote we need to know: the location of the event, date, times, what kind of event is this, number attending, how long you think you need a face painter for, budget and how will payment for these services be made. Also, distance to travel, if it's indoors or outdoors, what equipment we need to provide and if there is parking.

Give as much information as you can in your initial request for a face painter, this will help us to give you the right service for the event you're planning. If you're looking for someone who can dazzle the crowd with a variety of skills and an extensive portfolio, work at a moderate to fast pace, offer a well-priced service then you will have found the person you need. Also check if they have insurance and ask what type of products they use.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

I saw a lovely girl working her magic with a paint brush at a night club. I was enraptured and I wanted more! She trained me and now I do the same. I love what I do and this is mostly because nobody leaves unhappy (least of all me).

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

I have done a number of wonderful events through Add to Event. Some birthday parties, some weddings, and others. The one that stands out, was a last-minute booking for a small birthday party for a 4 year-old girl. I painted a lot of glittery butterflies, and the mums wanted some of the action too. It was lovely to create designs and happiness for everyone.
