What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

So we can give all our customers the best service and offer the best value we just need to know so extra details, the theme of the event, estimated number of guests, the location or venue they wish to use (we can often help you with that too) what would make your event amazing for you? and if you would like a catered event or just set up, or if you need some of our team to help out on the day. We then create you a truly beautiful bespoke event that will put a smile on every guest's face.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Ask about the services they offer, not many people know we have our own in house cake decorating team, or designer to take care of invites and bespoke printing. We also have a set designer. Don't be afraid to ask. We have created cafes and macaron and cocktail matching bars in a field for a harvest festival so if you can dream it up we can create it for you.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Cakery Wonderland is the first new business created and funded to help drive the local economy by incubating new business ideas and providing them with space and access to the infrastructure and local supply chain Britain Loves Baking has built up over the last two years.

The business is run by a team of young bakers who have been given the opportunity create a sustainable business that will always put bread on their table and help other disadvantaged young people bring their big food ideas to life and help create a future but nobody goes hungry.

When we talk about people that includes our customers too always looking at new ways to help create the most memorable event for all our customers if you have an idea I think we should do it then drop us a line we love nothing more than creating great ideas with our customers.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

This summer a booking through Add to Event saw the Cakery Wonderland asked to create an afternoon event for 900 people 195 families up and down the country to celebrate the late Queen Elizabeth's jubilee. Not only to create the afternoon tea but provide everything they needed to host an amazing afternoon tea party. Not only did we manage to ship these amazing boxes but we were asked by the team at BRITAIN LOVES BAKING, we are part of the same family of baking brands, to create a community bake for a food charity for 1000 people from 4 streets. We sent a team of bakers that worked day and night with the local community to create our royal jubilee afternoon tea to be enjoyed by everyone and they raised over £10,000 for the charity.
