What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

In order for us to provide a comprehensive quotation will we require the following:
Date of event, type of event, the estimated number of guests/attendees, time that you wish for the bar to open/close, details of the venue ie: barn, marquee, village hall etc OR if its an outside function in a public space. This will determine what equipment will be required.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

When talking to potential suppliers ensure that they understand your plans and your exact requirements. Check if there is a minimum spend, whether they deal with the necessary licensing to sell alcohol and have public liability insurance. Ask if the glassware is included and whether there is a fee for breakages. You may also want to request a copy of their stock list to ensure that you are happy with the selection of beverages on offer.

Brian's Mobile Bars is a family run business established in 1992.
