What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

In order to provide clients with an accurate quote, we need to check that the date is available, know where we are coming to and how many guests are to be fed. From that we establish the client's requirements in terms of the food, e.g. is it a main meal or an evening snack? Then give the most suitable choice of menu and package to individually suit the client.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Check that the company has a good reputation. See that they are busy! Photos and reviews online are a good clue. Ask for the basics: food hygiene qualifications, insurance and gas certification.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Two Counties Giant Paella grew out of our existing business, Two Counties Hog Roast. Corporate clients demanding more choice led us into giant paella! And they have been a massive success for weddings, parties and also corporate days.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

We've had several bookings through Add to Event and all went without a problem. The biggest function was for a corporate client and involved us feeding 450 guests with paella and hog roasts for a celebration evening. I have literally just recommend the website to another local company, who rang me to ask if they should join also.
