What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

To provide a comprehensive quote to a customer we would require location, the event date, start and finish times, the estimated number of guests, and a brief description of the type of food so I could provide a bespoke service catered to the client's individual needs including any dietary requirements.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Research is the key here look up their social media profiles for reviews or any information on the events they have attended how long they have traded any background information on their skill set. In my experience of the many events I have attended, having been a chef for 27 years, it is sad to see so many food operators who seem to have little experience in the food industry serving products that aren't great.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Having been a chef for 27 years as I approached 45 having a passion for street food decided that I would take the plunge from the security of a full-time job and start a food truck business that would focus on customer service and creating a unique experience for each of my clients.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

I must say I have had some cracking bookings on here the one that stands out the most which resonated through the industry which coined a name for myself as Panini Phill was with a film company over the other side of Sheffield. The girl who was responsible for hiring me has kept in touch since and had me on various TV sets most recently with Sky TV on their WOLFE Production. It was a fantastic experience meeting some wonderful people but a great morale boost to finally see all my hard work and commitment paying off with repeat custom.
