Coffee on the Go is a mobile barista van serving teas, Italian kimbo coffee, speciality coffees together with mouth watering cakes. They are available for hire for Corporate bookings, Film/TV, weddings, festivals, parties and race events.

What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

To achieve the best quotation we require the event date, number of guests, venue address, parking/space provision. What specific requirements do they require ie coffee, tea, snacks. Whether it is an indoor or outdoor event and whether power and water are available.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Ask the provider to provide a menu offering, what machine they are using and what coffee they use. Check reviews and comments online.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

I own a coffee shop so that's where it started. When we went into lockdown during COVID, my shop was shut for three lockdowns so during the first lockdown I knew I had to diversify the business and if the customer couldn't come to us, we could go to them and the mobile business took off. I have invested heavily in new vehicles and coffee units providing a high-end barista service.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

We have done a number of events through Add to Event. A couple comes to mind include working for Hampshire Police Rural Crime team - providing a coffee van on a farm where local farmers met with the Police to discuss rural crime and preventative measures. Others include working on film productions, weddings and corporate wellness fun day for employees - it was like attending a festival and was amazing!
