What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

In order for us to give the customer the right quote, we need to know the date of the event, number of adults & children attending, start time and finish time, whether the event is indoors or outdoors and if the location has power & water. The type of event and location is also important.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Do your own research first! Check their social media pages or websites for reviews from previous customers. Ask how many bar staff they will provide for your event and how much experience they have, the last thing you want for your event is slow bar staff or bar staff without experience - this could end up causing lengthy delays at the bar.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Devoted Deluxe have been in the events industry for over 10 years organising events all over the UK, and in 2012 we decided to venture into the drinks business. We started off by delivering booze to customers at home which then led onto us providing small bars for small house parties. After doing that for a few years, we decided grow the business nationwide.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

I was not sure about joining the Add to Event site at first, but after being on the site for just two days I landed my first booking and they keep on coming. One booking we will never forget would be the masquerade mansion party in Wiltshire. It was an excellent night. It was well organised and everyone was so lovely. I have recommend Add to Event to a few other businesses.
