What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

In order to provide an accurate quote, I would need the event date and duration, location, brief explanation of date, the estimated number of guests, location, whether it is indoor or outdoor and any other information such as whether you would like prints, albums, USB/ CD. You may also need a videographer and/or a Photobooth style operation which we are able to also provide. From this information, we are then able to provide an accurate quote and provide you with the exact services you need for your event.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

In order to hire a trustworthy and reliable provider, you will need to ensure the business/individual knows their craft well so look for a portfolio or website, this will show you their previous work and you will be able to see whether or not they provide what you are looking for. It is always great to find reviews from previous people who have used their service this will validate what you have already seen or heard.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

RN Events Photography was started by myself...Rhianne, out of a love for all things creative. Photography really put things into perspective for me and I was really able to capture memories and put my own twist on reality which people really seemed to love. Customers started to fall in love with the way I documented their day or event they were hosting which grew into some fantastic feedback for the business, this then lead me to work with some big companies and being in partnership with Citizen printing systems. This allowed me to start printing on-site so customers can take home hard copies of their memories.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

I had a Registry office wedding booking through Add to Event which was a great booking for a lovely client. I was also able to get my colleague videoing the ceremony as well so I will be referring her to the platform as it really is a great place for all types of suppliers in the events industry. The event went smoothly and we worked from start to finish, I was really grateful to the organisers and we received some lovely feedback
