What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
To provide an accurate and comprehensive quote to a customer, it's useful to know as much information as possible about the event being hosted. For example, what is the event? When is the event? How many people are attending? What services and requirements do you have from the supplier?
With those key bits of information, we can provide you with an accurate quote and feedback on how and if we could work together.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
There are two important factors that play a part when employing a photographer...
The first is a technically proficient photographer that can deliver high-quality images to suit your needs. This can include their equipment, experience and work flow. (It's worth asking, to feel reassured!)
The second is style and personality. Every photographer is different and it is so important that you enjoy their work, that they communicate well and you can build a trusted relationship!

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
I've been very fortunate that the photography business has grown organically over the last five years...
As with many professional photographers, it began as a hobby and after a few years, it became my passion and profession. I shot my first wedding back then and never looked back. My job allows me to meet a variety of people and shoot all sorts of weird and wonderful things and I love being able to be continually creative for a living!
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
I've had various weddings and events booked through this platform which has been great. It's the perfect way for customers to reach out and have a variety of suppliers to choose from!
