What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
I always like to see as much about the potential client's brief as possible, the more information that is provided, the easier it is to quote accurately and professionally.
If you really are client service orientated, maybe ask the client for a Zoom video call, so you can speak to them and get to know them, and then quote accordingly.
The clients should be encouraged by what you do, and therefore providing them reviews and to be as transparent as possible, is always a winner.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would like to offer this advice...
1/ Do you’re due diligence and check on both client and venue reviews, this is very important in order to feel reassured of the level of service.
2/ Arrange a Zoom video call or phone call with the supplier, and ask them how they can add value to your day, and ask them as many questions as possible.
3/Don't just look at price solely, look at quality and videos and experience that the supplier can offer.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
I started my business, as I have always been very passionate about weddings and events. I felt I could add so much value to the whole client's experience, both prior and on the day of the event. Being passionate about what you do is key, and always communicate that passion, when speaking to clients. The more you work with your client, the better their wedding or event will be, that’s where professionalism and expertise comes in.
