What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

To provide an accurate quote we ask that the customer provides as much information as possible. We need to know the event date, a short description of the type of event, the estimated number of guests, and the location of the event. With this information, we can use our experience and expertise to create a suitable package.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I would ask about experience. There are so many mobile coffee bars popping up but many of them do not have experience or product knowledge. Ask about their menu and what drink is their favourite and why. You want someone that is passionate about coffee.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

We met in a coffee shop, a typical boy meets girl scenario. We were always out and about going on dates and the first thing we'd both order when we arrived anywhere was a cup of coffee. This led us to day-dream about how we should start our own business serving irresistible coffee. Then one day we asked ourselves 'what's stopping us?' And Busy Beans Coffee was born.
