Thanks for visiting Bayfield Catering, my name is Emma Wedderburn and I have been in the catering industry for 18 years.
I am a local girl to the North Norfolk Coast born in Blakeney, and I have lived and worked here all of my life.
I trained at Norwich City College where I achieved my Catering City & Guilds Diploma. I took my first job working under Galton Blackiston at Morston Hall where I trained for a couple of years, continuing my career in local establishments along the Norfolk coast, getting a feel for different working environments. I worked my way through the catering roles and have had five Head Chef positions, my last being The Kings Head Letheringsett, working for Chris Coubrough of The Flying Kiwi Inns. Whilst I was there my team and I won the Good Pub Guides Norfolk Dining Pub of the Year 2010. It was a great experience and I learnt so much from Chris and the Kiwi Team. I then took up residence at the Cley Windmill Kitchen where I still am currently head chef of our very busy restaurant and wedding venue. When I am not at the windmill kitchen I am operating my outside catering business with help from all the family
